The Toddler Team

Pam D. | Teacher

Hello! I am so happy to be here at CV. I started babysitting at age 10 and knew from then on that I wanted to work with children. In 1994 I started work in a daycare. About three years later I received my certification and became licensed Lead Teacher for Infants, Toddlers, Preschool and Pre-K - all rooms I have worked in in the past.

I have three children of my own, and when they were young, I took care of children on-and-off in my home so that I could stay home with them. Since I have been back in the daycare setting these past five years I have primarily worked with infants and toddlers, while occasionally subbing in the older classrooms. I can honestly say I LOVE what I do, it’s the most fulfilling job and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

I have been working at Children’s Village since September 2004. In 2010 I returned to school and earned my degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from Cambridge College. Over the past 12 years, I have worked as an Assistant Teacher in the Preschool Room as well as a Substitute Teacher in the Toddler Room. I feel fortunate to now be a full-time teacher in the Toddler Classroom. I look forward to embarking on new adventures with the toddlers and the Toddler Team!

I have previously worked with infants and toddlers, and I really enjoy it! During my free time, I enjoy listening to music, dancing, spending time with my family and friends, and going for walks
