Play spaces

Motor Room

On the lower level of our facility is a designated large-motor movement space that is used by all classrooms. Ideal for days when the weather does not let us outside, the space has a designated set of motor toys and activities that encourage the children to practice their coordination and balancing abilities. We have also recently added a climbing wall that the children have enjoyed exploring!

Side yard

Directly connected to our school is a private outdoor space used solely by our teachers and students. It includes a climbing structure, sandbox, space to run in, as well as planter boxes that each classroom takes care of! There is a separate area used specifically by the Infant Room as well.

local space

We take advantage of our location to take daily walks to the various play spaces located close to Children’s Village. These include: the soccer fields, open areas and playgrounds of Danehy Park; the walking trails, Forest Playscape and Outdoor Classroom at Fresh Pond, and the recently-completed Universal Playground right down the street! We also enjoy exploring our neighborhood, and we especially love visiting Mr. Bonny’s flower shop!
